Can full body porcelain tiles be used in heavy-duty areas?
This type of material is highly resistant to abrasion and wear, which is why it is particularly suitable for heavy-duty areas and industrial uses. Due to demanding mechanical requirements, make sure the tiles are well glued to the subsurface.
Can full body porcelain tiles be used on outdoor walls?
Yes, as they are highly resistant to high temperature variations and especially ice, and practically impervious, which prevents water from being absorbed by the tiles. Revigrés includes several products in its collection that are perfectly suited, technically and aesthetically, for use on ventilated walls.
Can full body porcelain tiles be used with radiant floor heating systems?
Yes, it is the perfect ceramic material for such systems, due to its low coefficient of thermal expansion and high thermal transfer capacity. However, avoid using them with hot water systems because of the large amount of piping required. We suggest you use an electrical system that consists of a thin electric mesh that is compatible with a new floor covering and does not significantly affect the floor level. Always check with an expert.
Do products containing acid components damage full body porcelain?
Products with an acidic composition do not attack full body porcelain (unless they contain hydrofluoric acid, which damages enamelled porcelain tiles). However, these products can also damage decorative or constructive elements, so they must be used with care and following the manufacturers’ instructions.
Does full body porcelain require special maintenance?
No. For daily cleaning, use water (preferably warm) and a neutral detergent. Use a hard brush on tiles with rustic and anti-slip finish to remove all grit accumulated in the rough finish.
